SG, a manufacturer of Ascon and Remicon, announced on the 4th that it has established eco-friendly facilities for ascon at 11 ascon plants and made about 4.3 billion won in sales.

According to SG, the eco-friendly facility for ascon not only perfectly removes first-class carcinogens and odors emitted by the Ascon factory, but also completed patent registration in February last year as the only facility in Korea that passed the "Specific Air Pollution Permit Test" conducted by the Ministry of Environment.

In addition, SG signed a MOU (proceed with joint enterprise about eco-friendly facilities for ascon) with the Seo-gu Office of Incheon in June last year. And also in August, SG signed a MOU (cooperation research development : in the field of harmful and odor reduction) with the Korea Chemical Convergence Testing Institute (KTR), which issues certified test reports for Ascon products.

SG has been selected as the "Green New Deal Project" led by the government since September last year, speeding up the nationwide commercialization of the Ascon eco-friendly facility business.

A SG official said, "Since ascon can not produced in cold winter, a lot of ascon manufacturers are inquiring about the installation of Ascon eco-friendly facilities as the winter. Therefore, "As there are more companies pushing for contracts, sales of Ascon eco-friendly facilities will increase significantly as of the first quarter of this year."

"A long with COVID-19 crisis, the specified air noxious substance has come up as an issue. So the eco-friendly facilities for ascon which developed by SG is receiving the spotlight." SG official stressed.
