SG made an announcement on the 25th that it has completed the process of packaging the 'BMW Driving Center' circular course by applying EcoSteel Ascon.

According to the company, the BMW Driving Center's Circula Course is a course where you can experience situations such as vehicle center movement, steering, and changing current equipment on wet roads.

BMW Driving Center, which requires high-level road pavement technology, has a lot of high strength, high durability, fine dust reduction, and low noise due to its on-site characteristics.

SG directly packaged and constructed eco-steel ascon, a premium ascon.

Eco-steel ascon is an eco-friendly product that maximizes the performance of ascon by using strong steel slag that occurs during the steel mill's steelmaking process instead of natural aggregates.

It has features such as high strength, high durability, reduction of fine dust, low noise, longevity, economy, early opening of transportation, and eco-friendly.

"Eco-Steel Ascon already has excellent construction cases in extreme poor road conditions," a SG official said. "In the case of the underground road in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, we have completely improved the poor road environment due to frequent underground penetration of seawater, frequent cracks and damage."

In addition, a color eco-steel ascon was constructed at the bus stop in front of Yongsan Police Station in Seoul to secure visibility and reduce noise, and an eco-steel ascon was also packaged in the "E1 Container Terminal."

SG is trying to get a patent for eco-steel ascon manufacturing within this year to be certified as a new construction technology. "We will pioneer the future eco-friendly road industry with eco-friendly technology for the first time in Korea," a company official said.
